Default DDH Software Announces Winners of 2003 HanDBase Applet Design Contest

http://www.handbase.com

The votes have been tallied in the HanDBase 2003 Applet Design Contest I told you about in April. The winners are:

• Thomas Willson - Projects Solution
• Dr. JS Berrington - RCA Anesthetic Logbook
• Baxter Camp - Home Inventory Master

Congrats guys! :way to go: Remember that these and all other applets are free. You can download a trial version of HanDBase 3.0 Plus For Pocket PC to run the applet on from the HanDBase web site.

Why can't they put up a screen shot of the apps? I would have liked to see them but I am not going to install an app (HanDBase) just to install another app just to see what it looks like.

I picture is worth a thousand words.

These are databases, some with forms in front (very basic) and others are just like viewing Access tables and queries. Looks are about 5% of what this and other database apps are for. You really have to install the applet to begin to understand how they work. If it has forms, it will look similar to http://www.ddhsoftware.com/handbase_ppc.html but with their own color choices. If not, it will be a grid. Often too they leave the database unlocked so if you want to make changes, you are welcome to do so.
