Default Crazy Random Holiday Giveaway #4: Master Visually Windows Mobile 2003

If you're a newbie, having just acquired your Pocket PC in the past few months, this contest is for you! I was given a copy of Master Visually: Windows Mobile 2003, and it looks like a great learning tool for getting to know your Pocket PC.

So here's the contest: to win a free copy of this book, post a response in this thread telling me when you got your Pocket PC. That's it! At some random point today, I'll pick a winner from the thread. Let's go!

[And you'll notice I'm starting this contest while I sleep to give our friends outside North American time zones a chance to get in on the fun!] ;-)

UPDATE: And the winner is Bajan Cherry. Thanks for entering everyone! The contest is now over, but you can still read the entries.

Is this for newbies only?

My first Pocket PC was an E-125, back in May 2000. Of course, I've had (and still have) several WinCE devices before (started right away with the 320LX) too.

Hello, i would love to have this book!

Welll i just bought my first Pocket PC from cingular less than 2 weeks ago. I switched from Sprint because through my work (government job) i received 75% off any phone i would like from Cingular (plus 30% off my monthly plan). So being suprised by this, i just picked the most expensive phone, and wound up with a Seimens SX 66 for $137.

I am a total new-b for this. I have joined several messageboards and kept reading on and on. I even considered exchanging this phone for the next most expensive phone, the new RAZR V3, but cingular will not let me. So in a way im stuck with this, but rather happy. It will just take some getting used to and tips and tricks to use this gadget to the maximum potential, and this book would REALLY help me out. Ive always been a high tech type of guy, and feel a bit emarrased by this pocket PC has out done me... well so far.

If i dont win this, can someone give me a review on this book? is it worth purchasing?

Thanks all and i plan on being a active member.

tAnK

Hey, finally the Europeans also have a chance to win.
I've got my Pocket PC in March of 2004 and I love it. And I just got a Motorola MPx200 to have a WM companion with me all the time.
