Default BOnTime Source Code for Sale on eBay by Developer

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...item=5774991642

"BOnTime is time tracking software for the Pocket PC and Desktop that allows users to record and report on their time at work wherever they are. Due to other commitments, I no longer have the time to spend developing this software, so its now available for purchase - all the source code for the Pocket PC, and PC plus the beginnings of a Microsoft Smartphone version and a server version (early stage). What is included:
source code for Pocket PC and Desktop PC, source code (unfinished) for Microsoft smartphone (old version) and Windows Server (current version), all source for previous versions from version 2.2 to 3.0, ownership of BOnTime name (not registered). The application is written in VB.Net and requires Microsoft Visual Studio 2003 (not included)."

This is such a curious thing I just had to post on it - the developer of BOnTime, darryl_burling, no longer has time to sell/update/grow the software and is looking to sell the whole thing, source code and all. Check out the eBay auction for more information.

The seller ended this listing early because the item is no longer available for sale.
Perhaps an offline offer?

Or perhaps he didn't want it to be all that public...

Yes, Chris Auld (MS MVP Mobile Devices as well) bought the software, source code, everything.

Darryl joined Microsoft this month and he won't have much time now. He's put an update about the upcoming Smartphone and Server versions of BOnTime on his Blog.

Sorry about the quick on/off thing. The buyer and I discussed it briefly last week and yesterday evening he scooped it up, so I took it off ebay.

Full details are available at http://www.burling.co.nz/Default.asp...ry&EntryID=292

Thanks for the support guys!
