Default ...And the Answer Is "Roy Hinkley!"

There were SOOOOOOOOO many readers who knew the full name of The Professor on the Gilligan's Island TV show that it scares me.

It took a full 64 minutes for five people to win a free copy of Island Labs' new Queue game. The five winners are shill79, rud56789, spursdude, heov and palmsolo. I wasn't a stickler over whether or not people included the "Jr." or "PhD," but I've been told that the question was way too easy. So, you asked for it; NEXT time we're gonna ask something REALLY tough.

first person to quote this message can have my copy (if it's possible) like i said in the other thread, i'm never going to play this game anyway... though it's probably good. I'm just glad I won... that's a total of 2 wins for me, all in the same week!

Heov - then don't enter. If Brad does his contests like I do mine, the emails go out at the same time or BEFORE the post with winners goes public, so the developer has your email already and may have an email enroute to you to get your device name/user name to prepare a registration key.

That, and has to be a real ego boost to the guy that wrote the program to see the winner post go up and the first response is a sub-contest to give it away.

well the problem was that i was in a hurry and went ahead and posted my answer.

A minute later, I edited my post to say that my spot was still open. I thought I made that clear in my post (and only one person posted after me before I made the edit). I guess I could have edited out my answer, but I didn't think that was necessary as I thought my post was pretty clear when I said my spot was still open. (and the delete function was not yet implemented). See my post @ the thread: http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/foru...pic.php?t=7587 ... I really didn't think I was still going to win after entering that message.

If it's that big of a deal, don't worry about- I will keep the program (but chances are i'll play it like once a every 3 months).

I already emaild Brad back, but I could not email the developer because the addresses wer not given.

As I said, the program is probably great, the only thing I play on my PPC is GB (emulator) and I only play that once a month.

There seems to be a new medical condition we've created: "Pocket PC Thoughts Contest Response"

..refresh...refresh....IT'S UP....click....post....submit....<panting>....oh wait, I don't need that after all...

It makes our lives SO much easier if you only enter contests where you truly want and need the prize. Thanks!

Thanks and sorry for the disruption. I'll be sure to read the whole post and know what i'm going to win before I reply... yes, saw the update, I didn't see any replies. I clicked on discuss, and saw only one reply, and well, you know how it goes Again, sorry for any trouble I have caused.

MORE UPDATES: How about THIS...? Since Island Labs uses an island theme, we'll give the free licenses to the first five people who can post the full name of the Professor character on the Gilligan's Island TV show. I don't mean the actor's name, but the Professor's full name.
Not to whine, but you said "full name"... I'm an engineer, I get paid to be precise -- without the junior, it's not his full name...
