Anyone who has used their share of Bluetooth headsets know that finding one that fits nicely is a hit-and-miss proposition. That said, it appears that the CellPoint Flamingo headset has gained an audience for it's comfort, particularly with those who wear glasses since no ear-hook is required. I just don't know about the look of this thing though. It looks like someone is trying to wear a DC car adapters/chargers as an earring. Anyone else ever have the pleasure of trying this? Give us your thoughts!

I think all bluetooth headsets look very dorky, so this one is probably no worse.

While I do not need to wear my Flamingo headset often, when I do it is surprisingly comfortable. I see people using other headsets that stick halfway across their cheek and to be the Flamingo as less obtrusive visually than just about all the others.
I had a Bluespoon and could NEVER get it into my ear quickly enough to take an incoming call. With the Flamingo, it sits in my shirt pocket with the lanyard around my neck and when I reveive a call I am able to install it into my ear and answer the call by the third ring.

Lanyard is key with in ear only headsets, IMHO. I lost a very nice Plantronics when it fell out without my noticing it.

As much as I thought boom headsets looked dorky, I never liked the look or feel of carrying my Bluespoon around my neck. I end up just leaving it in my ear. Its very comfortable for me, (I almost took a shower with it, forgot it was there). If anyone does notice it, they dont say anything to me. They probably just say "Dork" to themselves later

I have to agree with Raphael. And the way it's designed to be worn in the ear? Yeah... uh... thanks, but no thanks. I'll just use my Jabra.

I think most BT earpieces look dorky because of how big and clunky they are, which is why I currently use the Jabra JX-10. For a BT-e, my JX-10 is the smallest, lightest, best performing, and most attractive earpiece I've ever found. It's proven to be quite durable (as durable as an earpiece could be), comes with a matching desktop charger, and for $100 USD street, can't be beat, IMO.

I don't use the earhook it comes with, but instead, just use one of Nextlink's soft black earsprings (that Nextlink includes with their AX2). I owned an AX2, but you can get these earsprings from Nextlink for free (or maybe they'd charge a nominal fee). These earsprings fit the Jabra perfectly (you just have to remove the thin black ring around the Jabra's earspeaker first and the Nextlink earspring attaches easily for a perfect fit), and keeps the earpiece comfortable and in place. I've never had a problem placing the earpiece (with this earspring) in my ear quickly and easily. I can answer a call on the first or second ring without a problem.

what do you think of the call quality with the jabra - i have a Jabra 250v that I LOVE the way it fits my ear ( cant fall off, even if I'm running) but the sound quality is NOT that good. people KNOW i'm on it, and dont like to talk to me.
sound quality is important, but so is the fact that it not easily fall off too, if im walking around, or doing something a little more spirited.
anyone else have any suggestions??

I really love the JX-10. Sound quality is great for me on my end and for those on the other end.
