Default Clinton Fitch Reviews the O2 Xda Zinc

http://www.clintonfitch.com/reviews...inc/default.asp

"Over the past two years multiple carriers and manufactures of Windows Mobile devices have released a plethora of devices with slide-out keyboard designs. While the majority of these devices have been good, many of them have lacked the raw processing power needed to be a true "power user" device. O2, a carrier and manufacture well known through Europe, Asia and the Middle East has been one of the last OEMs to release such a design but the wait has been worth it."

If you've thought about importing an O2 device to use with a North American carrier, check out this review of the O2 Xda Zinc. Beyond the in depth review of the hardware and software, Clinton Fitch also tested cellular connectivity with both Cingular and T-Mobile. Since the device cost is not being subsidized by a provider, you can expect to pay around $799.99 US for the Zinc. Now THAT's a lot of copper, nickel, and zinc out of your pocket. By the way, be sure to check out Hisham's post/rant from this past weekend: Phone Subsidies Hurting Consumers?
