Default Clinton Fitch and pocketnow.com Review Spb Pocket Plus 4.0

"Windows Mobile's flaws are well known. Issues such as the X button not closing apps and Pocket Internet Explorer not having tabbed browsing have been around for years. To our luck, Spb Software never seizes to keep us on the edge of our seats. Spb Pocket Plus is at it again with version 4.0, and this time, they've gone added new functionality and features that even make HTC's touchFLO seem like an innovation from the past. Will Spb Pocket Plus prove to be a true necessity for Windows Mobile users? Read on for the review, hot off the press!"

Both Clinton Fitch and pocketnow.com have fresh reviews of Spb Pocket Plus 4.0. If you're interested in learning what this new version brings to the table, be sure to check out the reviews, as well as give the trial version a go.

Default Repeating alarms taken out

People should take note that the repeating alarms feature has been taken out of this new version. And I believe that initially, it was not mentioned in the documentation, but I read that that has been corrected. The reason they say is that the feature was put in for WM3, and higher versions of WM has the feature in-built. I own an O2 XDA Atom Life, and the built-in repeating alarms feature does not work. You can imagine my shock 8O when I upgraded to Pocket Plus 4.0, and find out that the feature is no longer working!

Anyway, SPB said they'll release a separate download of the feature together with version 4.0.1 . Target release date is sometime this week.
