Default Missing Centre Column?

No, that's not a new feature we added - we have a strange bug that causes the centre column to, well, disappear. We're working on a fix, but if you come to the site and can't see this message, that's why.

Hmmm. Here in New Zealand, Australia and the UK it'll be centre. And defence, and customise... I guess Jason got some British education?

When I first moved here and asked to the car dealer about the "trunk", he replied "Ah, you mean the boot?" :?

...probably a Canadian education. But I think that qualifies as a British Commonwealth education.

...no, a trunk is a trunk in Canada too.

Cheers.

Yep, but in New Zealand and Australia a trunk is not the same as boot (car wise) 8O

Because I had strong American influence while learning English, language differences are quite amusing (even after six years living here). And this is not saying anything about accent... But this is going OT :worried:

aha! another way to spot a non-american!!!

usually it's the spelling....'s' instead of 'z'.

but signing "cheers", "hip hip", "ta ta" at the bottom also seems a dead giveaway.

another more subtle one is addressing the addressee by name - americans almost will never do it...though i try to counter this as much as i can.
