I know there have been some recent studies done about the increased risk of accidents when using a cell phone while driving, even when using a handsfree kit.
I wonder when they will come out with a study about podcasting while driving :devilboy:
Sorry dude, I stopped listening after a few seconds.
Wanna keep my ears and sanity... Even though English is not my native language, I can watch movies (and understand the dialogs), but that's too much to bear.
Guess I'll have to start doing some podcasts on my hour commute to work. I wonder if anyone would mind a bit of roadrage mixed in...
I say that should be a requirement for all PPCT ThoughtCasts - to do them while driving down the highway. It would make them much more entertaining and add that thrill factor with accidents and road rage!
Ya know, Ed... I was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia and while I understand the cultural need of "uuhhhs" in one's dialog, it did take me almost a minute to realize that you were talking about "smartphones" not "smartbombs." Where's 'bout you come from, son?
Really had me going there for a while.
"Microsoft is issuing new versions of smartbombs? Does Homeland Security know anything about this?"
Seriously, thanks for the one-man radio show. Reminds this long-term ex-pat of riding down the road with a buddy and talking tech trash for half an hour. Look forward to future casts.
Thank you for creating 4th podcast dedicated to Windows Mobile (after msmobiles.com Podcast, Daves iPAQ podcast and CoolSmartphone.com podcast), Ed H ! Keep doing it regularly!
However could you try to record it with better voice quality? ... with less background noise? I am not English native speaker and I have problems to understand it...
Nice one, Ed 8). This was the first podcast I have listened to and it exactly caught the 'sitting over a coffee talking tech with a friend' mood. Especially as this friend knows a lot more about the tech than I do. I look forward to more.
Also, are you going to have a true RSS site, so we can subscribe to your podcast?
What is wrong with the link in the post? I tested the RSS link in News Demon and had a few others test it in their RSS software. Enclosures and links all worked fine.
