Default MacOS X Tiger Skin for Wisbar Advance

http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/for...p=265094#265094

Our reader KTamas has created Mac OS X Tiger skins for Wisbar Advance 1 and 2, which you can download through his site. In the linked thread you can find more screenshots, but I'll give you one here.

Cool. However for the Pocket PC. I personally would like a solid color across the top. It just doesn't look right going blue white, blue.

I think once the VGA Pocket PC's can match the DPI of the iBook's it will look quite nice, but I agree not to sharp on the QVGA screen.

What is that battery program on the today screen? Also, what is the program that has the special events with the cool looking icons on the top of the screen?

Hello

The battery program(its a today plugin) is in SPB Pocket Plus (http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com/), the indicators from Mac OSX extended theme. The event program is Calendar Plus Pro aka. PocketBreeze (i'm using the older Calendar plus pro cause this osx skin doesnt released for pocketbreeze), it can display appointments, tasks, and anniversities on today screen (http://www.sbsh.net). You can found the mac osx extended theme for pocket plus in spb software house's website (its in extended theme contest), the calendar plus pro skin is made by Juni, drop me a mail for that skin, or browse brighthand's "What does your today screen looks like" topic.

I've got why people love making MacOSX skins for PPC. It just doesn't make sence. It just looks goofy on the PPC.

Very nice

I think your original will work fine once VGA Pocket PC's show up. There just needs to be more space between the sections. One suggestion. And this can be taken with a grain of salt since I'm about as far from an artist as you are going to get.
Tiger:

For the original would a blue bar with a white or white-ish oval that contains the icons look better? You could simply make the ends of the blue end caps on the bar curve in to give it that oval feel.

*shrugs* Just a suggestion. It's your baby. and I'm a no talent hick so

PS- Anyone else think that Tiger is starting to look a bit, just a tiny bit, like XP in its color scheme? 8O

Send a message via MSN to klinux

IMHO, I prefer the bottom bar to be solid as well.

As for OS X starting to look like XP, the new Finder in Jaguar totally reminds me of "My Computer". At least it is more tastefully implemented.
