My secret hope for WM5 is a RamDisk driver (oh wait, there is one already, mmmmm... if you read xda-developers, you know what i mean)...Cause that could operate as some sort of fast-storage. Of course, it is ram and you lose it at hard reset.. but it will be faster.

I see.
I saw mention of the Ramdisk on the WM blog, in connection with power-user use for PIE. Sounds like I can avoid the expense of the 128 MB upgrade.

Oh that! I was thinking more along the lines of storage management - things like Pocket Internet Explorer not having a way to limit the size of the cache, etc. You'll still be good with 64 MB of RAM for execution.

Thanks, Jason. I appreciate knowing this. I really get po'd at the RAM sometimes [I get that way too easily at my age]. Sounds like PIE issues are all I'll need to be concerned about, and I doubt it'll be a big issue for me.
