I don't know if that will be the case. What's the point of giving away free books that are already free to begin with, as is the case with out-of-copyright books? Not much of a promotion
Then it would be unlike any of their previous "Free-ebook-a-day" promotions.

I hope they post it soon. I'm going on a trip and it's hard to navigate the web and traffic at the same time!

"Security specialist Hawk Adams will brave any danger to protect a woman, but he'll never trust one. Years in the shadows of covert operations taught him to suppress his softer emotions. So when he rescues Charity Starr from kidnappers, he's stunned by the tenderness and passion she ignites in him."

Romance novels? What is up with that?!?!?!!? ukeface: I am going to have to find a Jean-Claude Van Damme movie on TBS this weekend just to purge my brain. :takethat:

This isn't going to be a very successful campaign if that's the kind of stuff they throw at us.

Not with me, but in fairness, if they only throw out geek SciFi stuff, they aren't going to broaden their market. I hope it is a broad range of selections over the next 31 days.

I'm not sure why, but lately I've noticed that Romance novels have begun to outnumber Sci-Fi books on ereader. I don't read either myself (I'm female, but my preference is mysteries -- not the thriller type), but since the males definitely outnumber the females at this and probably every other techie site, I'm wondering what devices these romance novels are mostly read on, and how are they being marketed.
