That's really funny. T3 is real yellow, but every Palmer like it and enjoy it.Why PPC users always have so many complaints?

I think Pocket PC'ers are just a little more sophisticated and have higher standards than Palmers...

The T3 screen is as white as the older Ipaq 1910 there is no yellow! I wich HP included the same screen as the Tungstens instead of the yellowish one.

It is cool that the customer is only charged when product is shipped which allows for order cancellations. I recall, however, that the 1940 yellow screen became an issue only after customers complained in the forums. Only one of the PPC reviews of the 1940 that I read before the forums took off mentioned the yellow screen and most reviews lauded the device without mentioning the screen defect.
In other words, I will only purchase a device after I inspect it first hand regardless of what the reviewers say. Our PPC reviews are nice in that they give some detail and first hand accounts to the specifications sheet but they need to do more to be truly effective. If they applied some of the basic tools of competitive analysis then the readers would gain value. For instance, setting a basis for functionality and grading across the basis per device would score the functionality of the device across the market offering. That would be good for the OEMs too: if HP is always coming in second place for screen due to Sony or now third place due to Palm then that will lower the HP total score according to the normalization weight and give a less favorable analysis. Hence, HP would complain to MS that in order for it to raise its score and improve its reviews it needs a higher resolution screen, or a more reliable ActiveSync, or more form factor freedom, etc.
That sort of analysis entails some work but it adds value to the review and gives more value to the reader. Frankly, the basis and the grading rules are a good amount of work to set up but after you have done it then analyzing subsequent devices is easy and more scientific.

I beg to differ, with CF prices half to a third of SD cards at the same capacity and up to 12 times the total capacity, CF still beats SD and aleays will. It's just simple math: with 2-4 times more internal volume, CF will always be ahead of the game.
New devices still come out with CF slots coz manufacturers understand these definite advantages!!

Well that’s obvious especially from what we heared of high capacity CF cards with lower prices. Seems to me CF cards will continue to play in the market. I was more convinced when I found out that ASUS MyPal A620BT comes only with a CompactFlash Type II slot instead of an SD slot.

the only reason i upgraded from 3630 to 3955 is because the screen was cracked, (and a 3955 was just 30$ more on ebay than a screen repair) and honestly i dont think i'll upgrade for a while-maybe high res screens, slidin keyboard, revolutionary new CE
3670 still has same screen res, similar os (if upgraded to 2002) and same memory (or does the 3700 have same memory) as the 4100 series, just minus the wifi and sd -is that all that can change in 3years?? i dont like palms but look at they're evolution from B/W 2mb device to sweet devices like the treo 600 or T3
