Default PDABuyersguide Run a iPAQ 6315 Case Review Roundup

http://www.pdabuyersguide.com/tips/..._6315_cases.htm

"I rarely use a PDA without a case. So I always look for cases that allow easy access to the buttons and screen when I use my PDA, yet provide good protection for the screen and prevent scratches when I’m not using it. Of course, finding the right balance between functionality and style; between protection and bulkiness is always a tricky thing. Good cases find a way to achieve that. We will look at the cases for the iPAQ 6315 from Sena Cases, Piel Frama and PDair."

PDABuyersguide have reviewed four iPAQ 6315 cases, including two leather flip cases and a leather and aluminium 'book style' case. There's no overall 'winner', as cases are such a personal thing and a person's needs may change from day to day. Overall it's a good run-through of some of the more widely available 6315 cases. In general, do you guys tend to own and use one case for your Pocket PCs or do you own a selection for different needs, e.g. leather flip case for business, aluminium case for travelling?

I use my Covertec leather case most of the time with my 2210. When I work outside (landscaping) or when I'm walking in the hills, I use an Otterbox Armor case, which is excellent

I have six cases 8O for my 5550: Titanium, Vaja,
Piel Frama, HP rubberised flip, HP book-style leather, HP cover pack.

I'm still looking for a flip-cover metall case.

All metall cases I've seen till now open side-ways.
This way I have 2 issues with them:
- you can't keep a complete grip on it
- you can't flip the cover completely out of the way behind the device
Both of which is possible with a flip-cover.

I'd love a very thin (metall) case, but my "thick" leather flip-cover Piel Frama case is still far more practical.
