Newegg is selling a PQI 1GB Secure Digital card for $103. 8O I don't know if this is an error or if it's just a great deal... and I don't know how good PQI flash memory is, but for those of you who have been waiting for affordable higher-capacity SD cards, we're starting to get there. 8)

Well, I just bought one...we'll have to wait and see if this really goes through.

I've had a few of their products and so far everything works without any issues - in fact my 512MB CF card has made it through the washing machine twice ops: and still works!

Wow! I didn't realize how cheap SD cards are now! I'll have to let my dad know about this, he should be able to hold about a million or so midis on a 1GB SD card. :lol:

PQI have been selling that card in other sites for that price and even 30 dollars lower after a rebate. The main question that I had and the main reason why I did not buy it was how good this card is because I have not found any information about it. It's not the same when you lose 128 Mb of data than when you lose 1 GB.
