Default More Axim X50 Pictures Surfacing

http://www.handy.ru/board/viewtopic...er=asc&start=15

This pair of Axim X50 pictures are fairly modest, but they certainly look realistic, and they've seemed to spark a lot of interest given the pile of submissions. You can hit the link above for the full-sized versions.

If the specs as current rumors suggest pan out, how many of you are planning to get one?

I am seriously considering it given the delays with the HP 47xx which I had my eye on.

Also buying a new machine each year can get quite expensive and Dells prices are much more manageable and the wait between the eventual appearance of the HP machine and the Dell hopefully is getting shorter as HP delays.

I've got a flaky Axim X5 that I'm just itching to replace. I was alomost going to by the X30, but I think I'll wait for the X50 now. That's if the price is reasonable...

If this thing is smaller than the hx4700 and is released soon, then bye bye hx4700. The similarity in shape with the 4150 has really won me here.

if these are the fcc docs for this device then it could be really close to release!!! they asked for a confidentiality date of 9/24/04. This thing could be close!!!

Oddly enough, mine is flaky, too. Could this be a quality issue? Don't get me wrong, I really like Dell equipment, but is shoddy workmanship the way they are undercutting competitors prices?
