Default Mobile Monday Marvels, Mogul Magnificent

http://justanothermobilemonday.com/...d-jamm-has-one/

"I returned home from vacation today to find an interesting package on my doorstep. Tearing through the outer wrapping, I was excited to find a brand new Sprint Mogul by HTC. This is the first native WM6 device to hit Sprint’s CDMA network, and I am really excited to take it for a test drive. Before I do, however, I thought I would give you a quick look at the device."

Holy Yellow Today Screens Batman! The Mogul looks like it's a gift to Sprint users, however I think that harsh yellow may be a bit too loud for an initial Today screen. Any Sprint-ers out there waiting to pick one up?

At least it's the theme that's yellow, and not the screen as a whole.

LOL, Jon. Thanks for the link. You are right about that yellow screen. Thankfully, it is already a much more subdued midnight blue.

Later this month, Judie Lipsett Hughes from Gear Diary and I will be jointly writing an in-depth review of the mogul.

I also have to add though, for those of you who have not tried it, WM6 Rocks!!

Nice. It has the Mail & IE buttons on the front, scroll wheel & comm manager button--even a wi-fi toggle button (I've never seen that on the HTC devices). I wish all phones with this form factor had the same button layout.

I agree, eriqc. The email button is a fantastic addition, and the scroll wheel is something I have been asking for since I got my Dell Axim (sans scroll wheel).

One of my two Moguls will be arriving today and the suspense is killing me. The form factor looks great, that square look of the 6700 was never my style but I had to go with it, now that all changes.

I would LOVE to have WM6, for the HTML email alone, but at $399, it's unlikely that my wife will let me upgrade from my 6700 any time soon...

That's not true.. my AT&T 8525 (HTC Hermes) has all of those buttons and the scroll wheel. The HTC Artemis has all of these as well too (though the scroll wheel is a jog dial on the Artemis instead, and it has a trackball).

Yeah, I played with one at one of the local stores...

I like it, I am going to switch back to Sprint... I think this is going to be my phone.
