lol, the engrish translator.

"From more convenient transgression web the PDA of existing than there is a possibility of enjoying Ping."

it looks pretty cool, but i dont think its useful in the US ATM. once we get the networks set up, all manufacturers will be pouring these into hte US. it really isnt worth the price right now, because it wont be as functional.

more engrish

"The iPAQ product army seclusion articles of association Riga the person who is strenuous ten is the efficient product in the person whose Ji promise is many"

and, it REALLY IS STARCRAFT. 8O

1. Needs a keyboard, not keypad. Numbers should be via the screen, letters on a keyboard.
2. Bluetooth headset. No one wants something the size of an Ipaq up by their face.
3. HP, you're based in Palo Alto...can you please introduce product in the US?

I like the idea of the keypad, I'd actually use it, and the blue lights are so cool.

The Asian market has so many good looking phones and Pocket PCs. Its not fair. lol

I wouldn't be so quick to blame HP on this one. When it comes to CDMA phones, the carriers (i.e., Verizon and Sprint) completely control the distribution. Because of that, they tend to play hardball with the phone vendors. This was why Sony-Ericsson dropped out of the CDMA market here. The carriers are just too hard to work with. And, of course, that means that the consumers suffer.

Haha. I think a release to the worldwide market would be a good move, rather than just the US market. I know of many people in all different countries who would kill to get their hands on this device.

Looks like it is being run in PocketIE maybe an on-line gaming website for SC???

Hopefully LG makes a GSM version of this! I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be using a keypad even on a PhoneEd Device (I'd probably be dialing via Contacts) but a keypad built-in is much more welcome than a HUGE 8O detachable thumboard. A built-in sliding thumboard would be fantastic though (ala XDA3)!

The technology is the same, but I'm not sure the provisioning, etc. is, and there might be quirks using their phones. Plus, the phone's going to be in Korean...

I live in Korea and can tell you that mobile telephones in Korea will not work in the USA. Some can be modified however but suspect the cost would make it not worth the effort.
