I received an email from Amazon this morning stating that the product no longer has a ship date. I then went ahead and canceled my Amazon order because Circuit City.com has them in stock and is selling them now with free ground shipping. Unfortunately, my local Circuit City doesn't have them in stock, but I can wait a couple days. I don't know if Amazon will ever ship them out and am not willing to wait any longer.

I am disappointed by the fact that this keyboard may not have a backlight, but Circuit City has a good 14 day return policy so I will know if it is a keeper soon.

OOOHHH!! My CC had 2!! I got one. I have class tonight but I'll take some pics and stuff tomorrow. Wow it is soo small.. Adds no thickness to the back at all and no width. It is actually the same width as the rubber grips. Only adds thickness to the front. I must say wow!

Oh and of course it is not back lit... but I didn't expect that from a clip on.

YiPPiEE!!

"... (as compared to the 19xx units, which don't have serial and have the connector reversed)."

This maybe a stupid question - you say that the 19xx units don't have serial - does this mean that a thumb keyboard is not possible? I have been hoping that a thumb keyboard would eventually be released for my 1935.

Correct. The only way to hook up a keyboard to 19xx is via IR or Bluetooth... and I don't know any of the latter, yet.
