APRIL FOOLS: SanDisk Introduces SD to microSD Adapter
"LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA, Apr. 1, 2007 – SanDisk® Corporation (NASDAQ: SNDK) today introduced the world's first SD™ to microSD™ adapter for mobile phones with side-loading microSD™ slots. "We understand that consumers have a huge stockpile of SD cards that aren't compatible with today's mobile phones, but thanks to our SD to microSD adapter, those SD cards can now be put to good use,” said Joe King, general manager of mobile consumer solutions for SanDisk." Ironically I would actually buy one of these they if did exist... as it would make swapping data from other sd devices (cameras in particular) a lot easier.
Oh well... maybe next year :lol:
