so when is the GSM model comming?

I have to admit that the Treo is pretty sweet. I've had just about all of the pocketpc phones (I currently use an audiovox 5600 smartphone) and have ditched them over one complaint or another. I went to a verizon store this weekend and got to touch it, and play with it for awile. I definately want one. I like the size, the add on features (still doesn't support the stereo bluetooth headset?) and most importantly the phone features.

My question is this: when will they release a GSM version? I have t-mobile here in San Diego, and I don't / won't switch carriers to buy the phone. does anyone know when they are going to release a gsm version?
