Default NO WM2003SE Update for ASUS A716 users.

After many months of being told that there ASUS was releasing a WM2003SE update for the A716 and possibly the A620/BT. Justin from PROPortable, the seller for ASUS products in the US, released a statement saying that production on the update has stopped and there will be no WM2003SE updates for A716 and A620/BT.

Sorry for all those who have waited. I for one am disappointed with the sudden turn of events.

I hope this does not happen with the A730 when it is released and WM2005 becomes available.

Yeah, I email Justin about it 3 weeks ago and he gave me the news regarding no WM200SE for A716. I just bought my A716 so I was able to return it.. I am very dissapointed with that fact we were lead to believe there was going to be a upgrade and there was none.

I bought a new DELL instead. Faster and $100 cheaper with SE installed.

I'm not to impressed with ASUS customer service either. I also emailed them regarding a pop sound from the speaker and never heard a response.

I think ASUS should stick to motherboards.

R.
