Default External Volume (w/o headphones) on ASUS Models

Got a quick question: I'd heard a rumor that the ASUS models have pretty good (loud) external volume output. As anyone who has traditionally used the iPaqs knows, the 3900 series was the last of the iPaqs with an output volume worth even remotely considering.

We're looking for a new PDA that had LOUD external volume output; this could be the one.

And, if so... then I'll be asking about the availability of good cases. And peripherals!

Thanks,

Ken

This is true...I have owned both the 3950 and now the A716....the A716 is definately as loud, however, when you lower the volume the 3950 was easier to hear....

I OWN A COMPAQ 3835 AND I JUST GOT THE MYPAL 716. I HAVE TO SAY, THE SOUND QUALITY OF THE IPAQ I THINK IS BETTER THAN THE 716. I'VE PLAYED A LITTLE BIT WITH THE EQ ON THE 716, BUT IT STILL SOUNDS A LITTLE THIN.(I LOVE THE 716 A LOT THOUGH!!!)
