716 used with sipix a6 printer?

I'm right on the verge of buying the new Mypal 716(if my wife allows). I currently use an old Ipaq 3855(pocketpc 2002) to print my business invoices in the field on the sipix a6, using infrared. has anyone tried to use the 716 to print to sipix using infrared? I know Fieldsoftware will now allow me to print using WM2003, but even they state on their site that some pocket pc's don't support infrared.(the ipaq 4150 doesn't work) I don't mind spending $450 on a new pocket pc but if I have to spend another $300-$400 on a new printer, then maybe I won't...yet. :roll:

I have not seen the mypal print via infared, but I do know that it works fine with the Brother mprint via bluetooth. So you might just want to hold off after all.
