Is there an upgrade (Megapixel Camera, RAM/ROM, Winmobile 2003SE etc.) announced for this model? It is frustrating to see better PocketPCs for GSM than CDMA but the CDMA has better coverage in US!
I don't understand. The SGH-i700 is GSM. If you're referring to the CDMA model, it's the SPH-i700. As for the latter, it has an 0.3MP camera, 64MB of RAM, and I don't see how an upgrade will be offered for either. WM2003PE was just released for the device, and I don't anticipate a SE upgrade, either.
If you need more than this, your best bet is to wait. Rumors suggest Verizon/Sprint will be releasing a CDMA version of the XDA/MDA III device.
my bad...I wanted to refer to the SPH-i700 (offered by Verizon) version and used upgrade as a loose term. I meant if there is a newer model in that series with higher res camera, more RAM/ROM etc.
