Default i730 EVDO

Can I use the i730 as a data card or a notebook modem and use EDVO to surf the net. Will I be able to receive phone calls and answer them simultaneously?

Yes you can but Verizon won't like it. In my experiments receiving a long call ends the data session but it is easily restored. I've never tried initiating a call while connected. Are you more intersted in Bluetooth or USB connect?

You must be on an EVDO network for you to also recieve calls. Data goes into "dormant" mode and the call comes through, thus file transfers are put on hold.

is a great place to go for all the tweaks you need for your i730. In order to disconnect data and initate a call, you will need SuperDave's Dialparser hack which is available in a thread that I linked above.
