Bluetooth usage with 2008 BMW's

Does anyone have any experience with whether the Samsung i760 will work properly with the 2008 BMW Bluetooth systems? My i730 was very inconsistent with the car and also would not properly download my address book. It would drop calls from the car speaker back to the phone without warning, leaving me thinking that the caller was gone, when actually they were back on the phone proper rather than on the car speaker.

I would love some help with this. The car dealer has been very helpful but just doesn't know my phone. He suggested I buy a Treo, which works perfectly with the car, but I don't WANT a Treo. He also said that the phone may be "more sophisticated than the car" system.
