Default Viewsonic V35 wireless internet options

I just purchased a Viewsonic V35 and love it. It has worked flawlessly thus far. I also need to get a new cell phone and would like to be able to use the cell phone to connect to the internet and use the V35 as the browser. Is this possible? What cables, etc. do I need?

You can do it by:

1. Connect the phone and V35 by using the IrDa ports on each of them.
2. Get a BlueTooth enabled phone and wait for a BT SDIO card (March/April)
3. Wait for someone to come up with a serial connector for your phone model and the V35 (unlikely).

This sucks for Sprint users...

1. There are NO sprint phones with IR...
2. There are NO current sprint BT phones (the t608 is coming soon, tho)
3. That cable doesn't exist either.

The best option at the moment is to purchase a serial cable for the v35, a serial cable for your phone, and mate them together with a null-modem connector. This works, but is clunky unless you like 10ft of cable.

I emailed Supply-Net and hope they will listen.

I suggested they create a two-part cable<->cell phone solution where you can mix-and-match both ends and snap them together in the middle to form a SHORT custom cable. I think it would do wonders for their business if they offered this.
