V35 looks & pda performance nice. but, file copy or install program in SD memory. very very slow :x 4MB mp3 copy SD momory, complete time to 4 minute. Is this something wrong with the my pda?

Is this something wrong with the my pda?

There's probably nothing wrong, but let's have some more details. How big is your SD card and what brand is it? 256 MB and 512 MB cards are 5x faster than 128 MB or less cards.

Also, does the Viewsonic do what the iPAQ 3800s did and run in MMC compatibility mode? This is 4x slower than full SD speed, I believe.

Yeah, well, ok, CF is faster, but 4MB in 4 minutes, that's way too slow, even for SD!

torring Pupil Join Date: Feb 2002 Posts: 38		This problem is identical to the one I'm experiencing with the new Medion PocketPC I'm reviewing: http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/foru...pic.php?t=6400 MMC seems a little bit faster than SD. a 12 MB install took 11 minutes to install plus 9 minutes when transferred to the device. Runnig from the SD-card is just as fast as on my Casio E200.
