SD Card help please - V37

I have bought a 512MB Lexar SD Card and the V37 reads it fine but wont write to it. It simply says error 19, write protect, etc. The card is not write protected and works fine in a pc card reader. If this issue can't be ressolved can someone please recommend a make/size of card and I'll return this one. The V37 is running PPC 2003.
