Default 1 gig toshiba sd card on v36

I have just bought a Toshiba 1 gig sd card for my v36. At first the card worked fine it would copy files without any problem. Recently though, the card is telling me that it is write protected and cannot copy. I have checked the lock tab on the side of the sd card multiple times and it is not locked. Is there anyway to fix this or should I just get a new sd card now? thank you

If you can copy/save your data to the PC, what I would do is just format the thing and try it again then. If that doesn't work, then another card is certainly an option.
