x30 battery - Is there a memory effect or decreased useability with irregular charging?

I just want to clerify, is there any sort of memory effect with these batteries?

I am gonna get an x30 here soon and I just wanna be sure that if I use it all day and maybe plug it in half way through to restore a little of the battery or for say, 10-20 min. in the car while going to lunch it's not gonna perminently lower the battery's battery life. I am gonna get a second battery for times where I won't have opportunities to recharge though too.

No. Lithium-Ion batteries have no memory effect, and in fact frequent charging is healthier for them than full discharging.

Generally what ADBrown said is what we'd all expect and consider when using our Lithium Ion batteries. While it has been stated that these batteries do not suffer from a memory effect, this is usually stated with the common user in mind. Those who do engineering and know all about batteries know that these batteries are not 100% immune from the memory effect. Lithium Ion batteries do not last forever after all. However, under general consideration, it is fine to charge these batteries whenever you want, although it is common practice to avoid a full discharge.
