What's the word on the Dell Wifi Cf card? Good, bad, ugly?

Works just fine...allows multiple profiles for different network access, and gets pretty reasonable pickup range.

I got the Netgear MA701 instead. It had a rebate so it only cost me about 60 bucks when i got it a few months ago. It has really good range. I can get over 600 feet with it (bear in mind i live in the country) with no problem what so ever. Also set up was a piece of cake. I'm very happy with this card.

I bought cheap PCMIA to CF Adapter and use my Lucent 802.11b card. Lucent drivers for Windows CE are available. Works good for war driving programs.

I have an MA701 and a friend has an Ambicom. Both work fine, but the range on the MA701 is almost double that of the Ambicom.

I know I'm new to all this new lingo, but after searching and using this forum for about 2 weeks now, I still have no idea what WiFi stands for?! Is it Wide interface For idiots" like me who don't know what it stands for? Thanks for the enlightenment!
