Default Vacation In Europe with My Dell PDA Possible?

Hi,

I am going to Europe Italy this summer and I was wanting to take my Dell Axim 5 PDA. Would it be OK to plug my PDA into there standard 220 Volt socket for recharging?

I noted that the the adapter input can handle between 100 - 240 Volts which would make me assume that since the 220Volts standard in Europe is within the adapter Range that it would be acceptable but I just wanted to check to be sure!

Sincerely,

Tony

As long as the adapter says "110-240V / 50-60Hz" or something similar, all you would need is a plug converter (e.g., just a little adapter on the end; a transformer would be overkill).

I was just in Europe for a week and had no problems.
You will find that the power lead that you use on the Dell AC adaptor is very common there and even if you don't have an adaptor to fit the plugs you will get by.

I found that the power cable for the radio in my hotel room worked just fine.
