Unable to use stylus

Hi,
I have a Dell Maxima 5 Pocket PC. It is very difficult to use the stylus on the screen. It does not respond at times the I tend to tap a bit harder on the screen. What could be the problem...At times we need to reset it for it to respond to the stylus.

Your digitizer could be failing, however, have you noticed any similarities when this happens? Such as, this happens mainly if program "A" is on...or you have to be doing something specific for it to stop responding.
