how can i use the recorder on calendar. it tells me tha there is not enough memory .i am only able to use the recording on notes.

It seems to work in the Notes page of a calendar entry on my iPAQ 3870.

Did you check your memory settings?

Hmmmm, apparently a problems with our Axims. I tried a recording in calander and also got the message

" There isn't enough space for this embedded voice note. Either embedded recordings are not allowed here or else the CODEC in use (such as PCM) does not provide enought compression. Try using a more compressed recording format such as mobile voice"


Anybody have any idea as to whats going on here ????

OK had the recording format set at 22050 mono 8 bit to try improve quality of recording . By changing that to lowest quality 8000 Hz 8 bit mono I was able to make about a 7 second recording in Calender before error popped up again. Not sure if problem is with Axim or with Windows for PPC. Funny thing is I can put embedded recordings in Word and Notes with no limit on length.
