Default Program Compatibility

OK, I've been using PalmOS devices for awhile now and havend been keeping up in the PocketPC arena...

Programs made for ARMS and MIPS processors: do they run on X-Scale?

Yes and No. The XScale will run ARM programs as it is the same processor family (if that is stated correctly). It will not run MIPS as that is an entirely different proccessor. Fortunately most things that were developed prior to PPC2002 were provided in ARM, MIPS and SH3 formats to cover the various processors. Those things that are created since PPC2002 at least support ARM and may also support the older units.
