problems playing my previous recording on my x50

I had an instance where I was recording a meeting to be transcribed later, and right when the meeting ended, an alert came out saying I was low on space, before I could stop the recorder. Problem is that when I checked out the recording, there's no sound!!! It's 50 mb of no sound!! I tried transferring it to my CF card and playing it there. then I tried recording my voice to test and see if the mic/sound was working properly and that worked. Weird thing is that there's 50 megs of recording that has nothing on it, and I really need to transcribe my notes. This isn't the first time I've used my axim to record, so it's worked before. Any help is appreciated.
