Default need to do a hard reset on my axim x5

it's got an annoying left-over from uninstalling pocket informant.
when an alarm in the calendar sounds, another alarm follows, gets progressively louder - much to the annoyance of those around me- and there's nothing i can do except press the [off] button.
plus clean out all the other gumph that has accumulated.

is there anything i need to remember to do ? other than make a backup of all my calendar entries, contacts etc.

thanks
robert

So long as you are sychronized with Outlook you should be all set.

When I've hard reset my Axim to install the upgrades I have not used the backup, just re-installed my programs.

That way I know I'm not re-installing any old crap and am starting with a nice clean PPC.

I don't sync with outlook so I used Pocket Backup(installed to SD card) to back up my PIM stuff to the storage card. Then I did the reset/upgrade and reinstalled Pocket Backup to the card again and restored my data, then reinstalled all the other programs.
