Default Keep or Sell

I just got my replacement Axim (my old one had a problem with its touchscreen) and I'm wondering if I should sell it for money towards an iPAQ 2215 or keep it. Is anyone interested in a brand new 400 mhz Axim running WM2003?

Default SELL!!!!

I got the Axim (couldn't resist the price) and one week later the 2215 was released. Took advantage of the 30 day return policy, robbed the savings account and got the 2215 and haven't looked back.

I like the Axim. It's a good unit, at a great price. Probably the perfect unit for a college student. The attraction was the price and the CF Slot; the largest draw-back (for me) was the size. Smaller units were considered but I like the versatility of the CF slot.

When the 2215 was released and I saw it had both CF and SD slots, along with bluetooth I had to see one. Once I picked it up, I was calling Dell for return authorization.

If size doesn't matter, keep the Axim. If size does matter, sell the Axim and get the HP.

If you haven't invested in a bunch of peripherals or accessories, I'd say you should go for it.
The 2215 is a great machine.

Question, did you send in an Axim with 2002 and they replaced it with one with 2003? I never got mine replace for the mushy D-pad. That would sure make for an easy upgrade.

Goldkey your milage may vary... I just called them up a few days ago to do a swap because of my d-pad and they sent me a greasy fingerprinted refurb with a dead internal battery and ppc2002.

The only good thing about it was the d-pad was definitely tighter than on my unit.

I will be sending the refurb back.

Default How much for it?

Let me know via reply how much you want for it. I may be interested if the price is right.

I also considered changing to a 2215 but decided to stick with the Axim.
Yes the small size and built in BT is attractive but the 2215 is not the perfect device for me personally.
If it had Wifi I might have gone for it. I must swap over my CF and radio cards ten times a day. I also would have been more tempted if the 2215 had offered more memory rather than less.
Anyway, I'm going to upgrade my Axim and wait to see what Dell come out with in the future.
