Has anyone received an X50v yet?
I ordered my x50v today and the ship date is 11/23. I was looking at it on Friday and if I would have ordered then my ship date would have been 11/19.
Has anyone gotten one yet besides those lucky reviewers?
What is the earliest ship date out there for us normal folk?

I think 11-17 was the earliest date estimate. I ordered mine at about 5 AM on the first day and that seemed to be what was being handed out then. I'm hoping that it was a WAG and that they were hedging against more orders than they anticipated. If it comes earlier, cool. If not OK too. Maybe they'll have the Media Player buttons update out before any one actually gets one  |

I understand the wait is hard, but you have to understand that it's only taking them a month after announcing them to get them out. I still can't find an HP 4700 series in any local store and that was announce months ago.
Part of the hold up is the VGA screen - they're incredably hard to make and a lot of them have to be throw away. We're talking many many many pixels on a very small screen. Even with normal LCD monitors they end up discarding a fair ammount (40% I heard at once - not sure though) because they simply aren't good enough. So the reason the Dell ppcs are taking so long is because they can't get enough LCD screens, it's a very special and very new type of screen.
So blame the feature you so so desire about this device for causing the delay because I promise you thats what it is.
