dammit, i ordered mine last monday night, and its getting delivered today, no doubt with PPC2002 on it. gits. oh well, hopefully i'll get a free update...

There was a post at Aximsite that suggested that anyone who bought a Dell 30 days before the release of PPC2003 would be entitled to a free upgrade.
I'm hoping for one as I ordered an Axim last week and expect it later this week. If it doesn't ship with 2003 then I'll be hoping for a free upgrade.

i'm assuming so, yeah.
although i've just had a look at the Dell Talk forums, and one guy has said that a colleague at his work spoke to dell, who told him that there wouldn't be a free upgrade to PPC2003. this guy only bought his axim last week as well. heres the link (3'rd up from bottom)
if thats the case, then boo dell, boo.

Dear Customer,
Please be reminded that the upgrade to PPC2003 is an 'upgrade'.
Upgrades are, hence, optional.
If your axim with PPC2002 is functioning perfectly, hence there are no need for us to provide free upgrade. If your axim is broken, we might think of sending you a new device with PPC2003 installed.
