Default Dropped my Axim, broke my Linksys WCF12 802.11b card

Okay, I dropped my Axim and it fell on the WCF12. The black plastic on the "sticking out" part of the wireless card snapped open exposing the PCB.

Surprise, surprise, this led to intermittent behavior, and then for the hell of it I took apart the card.

I couldn't find anything obviously wrong (no broken solder joints, etc) but I suspect the oscillator might be busted.

So, I am probably going to buy a Socket 802.11b card. IT appears to have the shortest dimensions sticking out.

Sorry to hear about the accident. Yes, the Socket/Symbol card has the smallest antenna AFAIK.
