Default Do all CF WiFi card work under Windows XP with PCMCIA adapter?

Hi,

I have an Axim X5 now and I want to buy the CF WiFi card. But I would like to know if I can use it under Windows XP with an CF to PCMCIA adapter. So far, only Symbol CF wifi card offically state it compatible with Windows 98SE/ME/2K/XP. Others don't even mention about Windows driver at all.

Thanks

No, not all of them. Socket's doesn't have desktop Windows drivers yet, although you can tweak the Symbol drivers to work with them.

BTW, those two cards are probably among the best WiFi cards available in the CF form factor, so you might seriously want to consider the Symbol as your solution.
