Dell Axim X3i Rendered Useless

Last night I was testing out some software I downloaded for my Dell Axim X3i, when it froze up for a long time. After freezing for a while it went to the Dell startup screen (the screen you see when you press the reset button).

After comming back on I get is the Today screen, but no real functionality. The Start menu only has the words "Recent Programs" greyed out, Today, Find, and Help. There is no way to get to the Settings or Programs. The Help doesn't even have any help articles in it.

What's worse is that it no longer connects with Microsoft ActiveSync on my computer. When I put my Pocket PC in it's cradle and click File->Get Connected in ActiveSync it just says "Your device was not detected."

I have no idea what to do, because I cannot send programs or files over to my Pocket PC. Please Help.

Nevermind, a hard reset seemed to help a lot.
