Default Axim X30 battery problem

After each charging, the battery meter shows only about 84%, and it runs out very fast.
Does this mean that I need to get battery replaced? If so, what kind of battery would be best for lifespan without making the x30 bulky?
Thanks

Sounds like it to me, though I suppose it could be something else.

Mugen makes an 1100 mAh battery that's the same size as the standard Dell 950 mAh. You might want to look at AximCases.com.

If you're really looking for low-cost options, I've gotten replacement batteries of all kinds at www.batteries.com.
