Axim Owners are usually younger?
From what I've seen in the real world (sorry, I know this is real too!), the owners of Axim X5s tend to be young. I'm 17, and the other people I know who have Axims are even younger!

I am 14 and i have an axim. I needed something to take notes in school faster. So i got the dell with the foldable keyboard. I got it because its inexpensive. The axim and the keyboard and screen protectors with tax and 2nd day shipping olny ran me 405 dollars. If you bought the ipaq 3955, thats all you could buy for that money, plus the axim has more rom, and a cf slot. Axim owners are younger because the axim is cheaper than all other pocket pc's

And we're smarter!
(Just kidding!)
Same for me. I was considering the Toshiba e330, which was about the same price. The Axim has everything I needed, and at a price I could afford.

Hmmmm. Either you're wrong, or some of us Axim users don't want to admit our ages?

Not me, of course.

If your hypothesis is correct, I would expect a lot of it has to do with the price.

You don't have to be young to recognize a great deal. When the Axim came out, nothing else could touch it at the price point.

I think did a good job when designing and pricing the Axim.
The pricing is certainly low enough to get young people who are on a tight budget. Just as important the Axim hes enough features to get customers like me, looking for a business and entertainment device.
The Axim still stands up to the new 2003 competion. There is nothing out there that I'm tempted to switch to.
Well maybe that new Sony.......

Of course not. But the young may only be able to afford the cheapest PPC.

Course that depends on your definition of "young" as well. I'm sure the 17 year olds wouldn't consider me young but the 40 year olds would! I'm 26
I think a more likely possibility is that Axim owners are more likely to be first time PPC purchasers.

Yeah, I got the feeling that being 30, I am probably considered old for purposes of this survey.
