Only the extra software loaded in ROM, the badges on the unit and the 256Mb SD card included in the box with the XDA Mini.

The Lexar 256Mb SD is an extra that O2 include with the XDA Mini. It gives you 256Mb of extra storage on top of the 55Mb built in.

The iMate does not include this SD Card.

The only benefit of the XDA Mini over the Jam is the inc. 256Mb SD. But, thats not so if you can get the Jam cheaper. If the Jam was US$20-30 cheaper its a better deal, as you could just buy an SD Card.

Not sure about what the extra software that the Jam has included compared with the XDA Mini. The XDA Mini comes with a backup program built in, a photo/midi/video viewer, Clearview PPT and PDF Viewers, and an Auto Network Config program in ROM. Not sure about whats on the CD. Haven't opened it yet.

Apparently, O2 XDA's also have better resale values than iMates...you can check this out on eBay.

Yeah, the price difference is considerable. I got my XDA II Mini for AU$945, and the JAM was AU$890 from the same seller. Didn't know at the time, because i searched for xda II mini, not jam, but found out later. Some of the difference would be the extra 256Mb SD card in the box.
