Default Which wifi sdio card for the jam

My Socket SDIO wifi card died. Any suggestions on a replacement to be used with an i-mate jam Is the Socket card the best? I see one from Sandisk with 256 of memory on board. Any advice would be appreciated.

Generally, Sandisk and Socket are the main ones. Sandisk's card is supposed to be decent, performance-wise, and if you're looking for the extra memory, I'd consider the Wi-Fi + 256MB card since the JAM only has one SD slot.

They (the Socket and the SanDisk SD cards) are built around the same chipset, so behave in a similar way (and, unfortunately, share the same problems - see e.g. http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/foru...ic.php?t=28202 ).

Therefore, as Darius recommended, go for the memory-equipped SanDisk card so that you'll also have some additional flash memory.

I use a Sandisk SD Wifi and it works great.
