Omnidirectional Bluetooth headsets

I need a Bluetooth headset that will pick up my voice and that of the person I'm talking to face-to-face, so that the person I'm talking to on the phone (via Skype on a PC actually) will be able to hear both of us. Will a headset with an omnidirectional mic do this, or will it pick up so much the conversation will be unintelligible? Other solutions? Thanks.
